You had an emotionally difficult cesarean.

And now you’re considering another pregnancy and birth…

* * *

But you went through something really hard last time.

How can you increase the likelihood of having a positive birth experience this time?

The answer is not a mindset shift, fear-setting activities, or doing all of the right birthing courses, exercises, and chiropractic care (though these are helpful and important, too!)

* * *

You might not know…

Some research has demonstrated that a “positive” birth experience is actually not about the medical or technical circumstances as much as the emotional experience.

I’ll teach you how to optimize on key emotional aspects of your pregnancy and birth, making you more likely to feel satisfied, even if your birth experience doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Whether you’re planning a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), an out-of-hospital-birth, or a planned cesarean, this workshop will provide an important emotional framework for the birth you’re longing for.

This online workshop is for you, if you had an emotionally difficult cesarean birth and…

  • you are considering more children

  • you are ready to conceive

  • you are trying to conceive

  • you are pregnant

* * *

Join an intimate group of other cesarean mothers for this one-of-a-kind experience.

* * *

  • EMPOWER yourself with vital information about pregnancy and birth after an emotionally difficult cesarean birth (whether or not you had complications)

  • UNDERSTAND why your first birth felt badly, and clear any “unfinished business”

  • GET CRYSTAL CLEAR about the emotional experiences that you need in order to have a “good” birth, regardless of the medical circumstances

  • IDENTIFY what aspects of your next pregnancy and birth you can CONTROL or INFLUENCE in order to feel the birthing emotions that you long for.

Some Technical details

Structure

Shortly after registration, you’ll receive the Zoom credentials via email. You’ll also receive an email reminder 24 hours prior to each session.

For this single workshop, we will meet twice. Each session is 90-minutes and the sessions are two weeks apart. The cost includes both Part 1 and Part 2.

The workshop is divided into two parts because it is interactive, there will be time for sharing, and because I want to move through the material at a careful pace. After all, talking about pregnancy after we’ve had a difficult birth can be emotional and sensitive.

Trauma-Informed

Throughout our time together, I’ll use somatic and trauma-informed processes to help participants stay grounded and minimize nervous system activation. Registrants will also be invited to my free online community, where they can get support outside of our calls and connect with other mothers who can relate.

Participation

While this workshop is designed to be interactive, participation is always optional. Even if you attend live, you can opt out of participation, or choose to participate only if and when it feels good. Your consent is an important part of the experience.

You’ll benefit most if you can attend both parts of the workshop live. However, if you can’t attend live, this workshop will still benefit you. All registrants will receive a recording within 72 hours of each session.

All registrations are non-refundable.

It’s normal to feel nervous about signing up for something like this. If you want to discuss the details or talk through your hesitations, I welcome any questions. You can contact me here.
